Steps to renting
Step 1
Finding a property
Start by determining your budget, including rent, bills, and any upfront costs like deposits. Make a list of your must-haves and always view the property in person before committing to become the tenant.
Step 2
Pre-tenancy checks
Before offering you a tenancy, we’ll run some quick pre-tenancy checks, including affordability, right to rent, and reference checks from your current landlord. Most of these checks are done through our online referencing partners, making it quick and easy.
Step 3
Completing the paperwork
We’ll prepare your tenancy agreement for you to sign online. Your first month’s rent and deposit are typically collected 24 hours before your tenancy starts. If we’re managing the property, we’ll also protect your damage deposit.
Step 4
Your safety is our priority
We take your safety seriously. We’ll ensure all necessary safety checks and certifications are in place before your tenancy starts and remain up to date throughout your time in the property.
Step 5
Move-in ready!
Once everything’s signed and sorted, you’ll be ready to collect the keys to your new home. Welcome aboard—we’re thrilled to have you as a tenant!

During your tenancy
If your property is managed by us, our friendly and efficient team is always here to help with any maintenance issues or tenancy queries. We’ve got you covered every step of the way.
Compliance and paperwork
Tenant referencing is easy with our online partner. Simply upload your documents, or if needed, we’ll help you scan and upload them.
Once you’ve found your property, we’ll share a simple guide to securing it, including affordability criteria. Your deposit is protected through the Deposit Protection Service, and we provide full client money protection for your peace of mind.
